Jess brings two decades of security and protection experience and leadership across government and private sectors. The move will address TorchStone Global’s substantial 10-fold growth in managed services, providing embedded employees to meet the safety and security needs of the firm’s corporate clients, large scale entertainment and sporting events organisers, and high-net-worth families.

Jess will help TorchStone Global’s clients build comprehensive safety and security programs by bringing in the right talent to meet their client’s unique needs, focusing on process improvement, assessments and compliance, as well as operational excellence.

Damewood brings years of experience in U.S. law enforcement, as well as extensive service living and working abroad as a contractor for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. Damewood is noted for his work in Kosovo; he was commended by both the U.S. and UK Embassies for his role in the 2013 Brussels Agreement that normalised security cooperation between Serbia and Kosovo. This experience shaped his thinking on the power of collaboration with safety and security partners and the holistic benefit of embedded mentors.
